Lovely experience , warm welcome , really friendly staff , evening meal was very nice , lovely big portions , comfy bed and nice clean room , we even had a upgrade as it was our anniversary and a free drink with our meal , good selection of breakfast and was lovely , thank you to Julie and the chef
Stayed at the Almondsbury for a couple of nights with my boyfriend and it was a lovely hotel experience. Very friendly staff who were always happy to help. We have stayed in quite a few hotels the last year and we had the best sleep. The heating wasn’t great I have to admit but for the price I’d very much recommend if staying in the Bristol area. ⭐⭐⭐⭐
Warm greeting, chatty receptionist. Clean comfortable room. Just off the motorway but well insulated. Controllable heating. One might stat to attend a local event.
A last minute booking for one night on 1st December. The room was large, clean and with a very comfortable bed. Proper blackout curtains and decent windows meant the room was dark and quiet. An iron and an ironing board were a welcome sight, as was the large shower. Staff were friendly and attentive with a good sense of humour. Nit picking would say that there is a £3.00 charge for parking, and for some reason Google Maps took me to a different hotel several miles away. All in all though, a good quality, well priced hotel and recommended.
Very handy for the motorway and not far into Bristol for visiting family. Have stayed a couple of times in a standard double room. Rooms were clean and comfortable, appear to have been updated recently as nice and modern Everything we needed as a base, didn't spend much time in the hotel other than to sleep but found it better value than the local travel lodge/premier inns on the same dates. Highly likely we will be back!
I ,had an amazing stay the rooms were pristine and reception was lovley especially the staff member morgan. Would definitely return.
I think the reviews on here are a bit harsh. The rooms are clean and air-conditioned, staff were helpful and friendly. The hotel doesn't rip you off for parking like a lot of others do (£3.50 a day here). If you need somewhere to break journey or somewhere cheap to stay on the outskirts of Bristol, this is perfect. Can't comment on the food as I tend not to eat dinner by the side of the motorway.
Had a very nice room, large and clean. Julie and Hope were the most accommodating hosts we could have wished for. Helpful, polite and went above and beyond. We had a great night with them looking after us. Thank you!
